Children and Young Peoples Project Officer – Maternity Cover

Until July 2021 – part time (18.5 hours) – SCP range 15 – 25 (£23,541 – £29,577) pro rata

Want to make a difference in Frome? Our Project Officers work across the town, developing relationships and building communities.

In this role you’ll work in partnership with local people, community groups, schools and public agencies to foster the power and capacity of local communities. This will mean that children, young people and their families receive the right service at the right time ultimately enabling them to help themselves.

This is a temporary role with the possibility of extension, delivering an innovative programme of action, which means the ability to use your initiative, motivation and determination to make things happen is essential.

Resilience Officer

Permanent full-time (37 hours) Grade: SCP 15-25 (£23,541 – £29,577)

Are you passionate about building community resilience and addressing climate change? Do you have experience of working with communities to improve environmental sustainability? Then come and join a team at Frome Town Council that has led the way in this field.

In this role you will work not only with other Council staff and councillors but also engage community organisations, businesses, individuals and other public agencies in an innovative programme of work. You will use your experience, creativity and determination to improve energy efficiency, promote renewable energy, reduce waste, encourage walking and cycling, promote community sharing and much more!
