Community Projects Officer (Maternity Cover)
Want to make a difference in Frome? Our Project Officers work across the town, building relationships and building communities.
We work with businesses, community groups, schools and more to make things happen: from active travel to play spaces. You’ll be supporting the town to do things better and you’ll be working on a variety of exciting projects, which means you’ll be organised and that you approach challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm, good humour and a bit of initiative.

Frome Community Cars – Co-ordinator Opportunity
Are you passionate about Frome and its community? Frome Community Cars is looking for a freelance co-ordinator to manage Frome’s volunteer driver scheme and spin it out as an independent social enterprise. Enthusiastic, self-motivated and well organised you will work with a team of volunteer drivers to provide transport for people who can’t easily access the things they need.
Remuneration is £10p/h, 20 hours a week on a self-employed contract basis. There is some flexibility with working times and the role is open to job share.
