Frome Train station

There are a host of different ways to travel to, from and around Frome, including our Ebikes and the Co-wheels car share scheme.  On this page you can find information on local bus and train services, coaches, car parks and electric car charging points. You can also plan your journey using Somerset Think Travel:

Buses

Somerset Council is the local authority which oversees bus services and provides subsidy and support where necessary. You can visit their website for more information or contact them here. Most bus/transport services are provided by commercial operators and these may be subsidised by Somerset Council.

You can search for and view bus timetables on the Traveline website. We can print off a timetable for you at the Town Hall or at the Discover Frome Information Point at Frome Library for a small charge.

Please be advised: Bus operators can change their timetables on any day during the year providing they give the Traffic Commissioners 56 days’ notice.

We’d advise checking the individual bus operators’ websites before you travel.

The Frome and Villages Bus Users Group blog site also keeps up to date with changes where you can find updates on all local bus services.
