David Warburton set to highlight challenges and opportunities for local businesses

This month’s Business Breakfast will be hosted at The Standerwick Suite, Frome Market, on Friday 4 November. Beginning at 7am, this month’s guest speaker will be David Warburton MP. David will give a keynote speech that addresses the current government policy towards business and how the government can better encourage growth in the South West. He will also examine the current challenges facing local businesses and the potential opportunities given the outcome of the EU referendum in June.

Elected as the Member of Parliament of Somerton and Frome in 2015, David Warburton MP is chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Small and Micro Businesses and has been a resident in the Mendip area for the past 10 years. As usual the event will begin with a delicious cooked breakfast and there will be opportunities to meet and discuss the issues raised with other delegates.

Organised by Frome Town Council, Frome & District Chamber of Commerce and AM Personnel’s Mairi Connelly, the Frome Business Breakfast sessions are open to all local businesses and community enterprises. In addition to the keynote speech by David Warburton MP, the event will also act as an excellent opportunity to network with other business owners.

The event costs £10 per person with the breakfast included in the price. Dietary options are available upon request prior to the event.
