Invitation to tender – Victoria Park cafe
Frome Town Council is inviting tenders to run the community café in Victoria Park.
Victoria Park is Frome’s oldest park. It is one of the town’s most popular and well-used green spaces. Next door, the Mary Baily playing field offers space for play, sport and recreation. The Victoria Park café is an important community hub. It is a place to meet, connect, eat, play and relax.
We want the café to be welcoming and affordable, offering good-quality hot and cold food and drink, delivering its own events and hosting those of others, supporting the community and helping people discover local activities and projects.
The Victoria Park café is initially leased on a rent-free basis, on the proviso that it is run for community benefit via an Operating Agreement
