Dog Control Orders – What do you think Frome Town Council should do?

Dog Control Orders are used to make sure dog owners are considerate of others. In the extreme the Police can prosecute dog owners who do not pick up their dog’s poo or have a dog that is out of control, for example.

Frome Town Council are considering introducing Dog Control Orders (DCOs) on land that we own or are responsible for managing and we’d like to know what you think.

We know this is a sensitive issue and DCOs are only one of many ways we are exploring to make sure dog owners and the rest of the community remain friends.

We invite local people to take part in a survey – the closing date is Wednesday 30 April. This can be done in a number of ways:

Simply click on the following link and complete the survey online: www.surveymonkey.com/s/MMSHZ6T

Or you can collect a form from the Information Centre at the Library. It shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes to complete.

Thank you for your help.
