Training Programme at Frome Town Hall

Frome Town Council are continuing to deliver their successful programme of training for local community organisations over the next few months with a range of opportunities to learn more about tips and tricks to successful fundraising and how to effectively recruit, support and manage volunteers.

March will see Frome Town Hall host a number of evening and daytime training sessions with ‘Recruiting Volunteers’ run by Volunteer Frome and ‘Writing your Case for Support’ delivered by Rebecca Morland, Frome Town Council’s contracted fundraising advisor for local groups and organisation, kicking off the month on the 1st.

Councillor Kate Bielby explained “As an organization FTC is committed to training.  We have worked hard in recent years to provide opportunities for volunteers, paid staff and trustees alike to come together, learn new skills and explore how they can support each other.  The training has been developed alongside organisations that we are working with and aims to help them tackle things that will ensure they can continue to deliver the brilliant range of services on offer in Frome.”
