Frome Town Council is sad to hear of the death of Alvin Horsfall on the 28th December. Alvin was Mayor of Frome from 2008 to 2009.
Mayor Sara Butler said “Alvin Horsfall was a thoroughly lovely man who by all reports from the staff who can remember his time at the council was always a joy to have around at the council offices, ready with a smile and a friendly word. He made an excellent Mayor championing many good causes and helping raise money for charity, and our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.”
