The Key Centre

The Key Centre is now owned and run by Frome Town Council. The team have lots of plans for this former Sure Start Centre on The Mount to ensure it is a safe, welcoming space that grows sustainably, in partnership with the local community.

Our Key Centre Coordinator Sarah Walton is based at the Key Centre. There’s lots to do, but work is very much under way and we hope to open up the building to new hirers soon. In the meantime, please join our mailing list and come along to the following pop-up events, in collaboration with Caravan Arts and tell us your ‘Key Centre stories’ to help build a picture of the history of the Key Centre – and its future.

Community garden and cabin at the Key Centre

All sorts of local community groups use the Key Centre for targeted holiday activities such as Youth Clubs, Sound Lab and Evolve Music.

It offers a range of spaces for meetings, groups and celebrations, plus a thriving community garden and cabin with an accessible toilet, kitchen and meeting/activity space, all of which will be available to hire.
