How to register to vote

In the lead up to the General and Local Elections we’re hosting a Democracy Day on 12 April. You can find out more about this event here. We will be updating our website regularly with helpful information running up to 7 May. If you need a paper copy or any help please give Rebecca our Administrator a call  01373 475576  and one can be provided for you!

Everyone needs to be registered to vote in the elections on 7 May. You can register to vote by visiting this website  or there are various other ways you can register too, like downloading this application. If you’re not registered you can’t have your say, so don’t miss the deadline to register so you can vote – Monday 20 April 2015! You can find out loads more information about the elections here!

Did you know: If you’re unable to get to the polling station on the day, you have the option of voting by post – or by proxy (getting someone you know and trust to vote on your behalf).  You can apply for a postal vote here.

You can find out more about voting by proxy here.
