Furniture available to small businesses and community groups

Frome Town Council is relocating to the Frome Town Hall in a matter of weeks. As the Council is moving to a different set up in the new building, some of the furniture that they used at Palmer Street is now surplus to requirements. The Council would like small local businesses and charities to have the furniture, which will be available to collect on 16th and 17th February 2017 from 5 Palmer Street.

Paul Wynne, Frome Town Clerk explains: “We are making this furniture available for any small businesses, charities or community groups that are in need of furniture but perhaps don’t have the budget to buy everything they need. We need people to come in and earmark what they want, coming into the offices 8th and 10th February so we can put things aside. We can label things up so the movers won’t touch them and community groups can come in and collect what they have reserved on 16th and 17th February.  All we ask is a voluntary small monetary donation that will be given to Fair Frome. Regrettably we cannot deliver any furniture – so any interested parties must be able to collect it.”
Council staff will be present on the days mentioned. For more information, please contact Laura at poultonl@frometowncouncil.gov.uk or on 01373 475572
