Winter workshops at SHARE

The Share shop is regularly putting on workshops, which enable you to expand your skill-set. Whether this is in pursuit of building on existing knowledge for a career or taking up a new hobby – they have a diverse programme with a little something for everyone.  Their popular sewing classes continue Monday mornings from10am at £5 per session, and the regular crochet session on Thursdays, 1 – 3pm is also getting increasingly popular.

With Christmas coming the Share shop is hosting a number of festive themed events:

Thursday 24 November, 6.30 – 8.30pm sees a Christmas Swap –  a great opportunity to refresh your decorations without the usual waste and expense. Anything left over will be available for borrowing from Share in December.

21 November, 10am-midday is a Willow Stars workshop – perfect as a seasonal gift or something to teach younger members of the family.

28 November, 10am-midday, you can learn to make fabric decorations or garlands; you can bring along your sewing machine or borrow one from the Share shop. Both workshops are £25 per person – including materials.

Friday 2 December, 3 – 4pm you can make your own gift boxes – perfect to house any present for friends or family. From 5.30pm onwards, there will be festive tipples to enjoy.

Further details about these events are on their website and Facebook events pages.
