Temporary Road Closures for February

Innox Hill

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure of Innox Hill. This road will be closed from 4th February 2019 and is expected to last for 40 days to enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works in this road.

Feltham Hill

Please note that due to the height and force of the river the road has re-opened and these works will be rescheduled for the summer months.

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure of Feltham Hill from 25m east and 25m west, Road Over River Frome bridge for a total distance of 50 metres. This road will be closed from 11th February 2019 and is expected to last for 19 days to enable Crestmoor Construction to carry out structural repair to bridge and silt removal works in this road.

Wallbridge/Portway

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure of Wallbridge/Portway (A362) from 20m either side of the railway bridge over the road for a total distance of 40 metres. This road will be closed from 13th February 2019 and is expected to last for 1 night (22.00-6.00hrs) to enable Network Rail to carry out a safety examination of the bridge structure in this road.

New Buildings

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure of New Buildings. This road will be closed from 25th February 2019 and is expected to last for 3 days to enable Kier for Bristol Water to carry out lead replacement works in this road.

Berkley Roundabout

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure of (A361) Berkley Roundabout, Frome Bypass and Frome Bypass Feeder Road North from (A361) Berkley Roundabout. This road will be closed from 25th February 2019 and is expected to last for 3 nights (18.30pm- 07.00am) to enable Somerset Highways to carry out resurfacing works in this road.

Cemetery Roundabout

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure of Cemetery Roundabout, Frome Road and Frome Bypass. This road will be closed from 28th February 2019 and is expected to last for 3 nights (18.00pm- 07.00am) excluding the weekend to enable Somerset Highways to carry out resurfacing works in this road.
