Hustings for 2019 elections

With the General Election rapidly approaching Frome Town Council are organising a hustings where all the candidates for the Somerton & Frome parliamentary seat have been invited to take part.  It will be held at Frome Town Football Club on Sunday 24th November from 2 – 4:30pm.

The candidates for the parliamentary seat will be in attendance and it’s your chance to put your questions forward, meet the prospective MPs, listen to others and get involved.

In the running on 12th December are:

  • David Warburton (Conservative Party)
  • Andrea Dexter (Green Party)
  • Adam Boyden (Liberal Democrat Party)
  • Sean Dromgoole (Labour Party)

Whether your questions are about young people, homelessness, climate change or Brexit business this is your chance to hear from the candidates. Put your questions forward on both local and national issues and discuss with others. To send questions email lflaherty@frometowncouncil.gov.uk or bring them on the day.

The register to vote deadline is 12 midnight on Tuesday 26 November visit  https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote with your national insurance number, alternatively pop into the Town Hall where one of the team can assist.
