Any feedback will also help to inform the Town Council’s formal response, which will be brought to Town Matters meeting on 19 June.

Mayor of Frome Mark Dorrington who will be chairing the meeting said, “If you are not sure what the planning application for Saxonvale entails, come to the meeting and hear from the developers and other stakeholders. This will cover issues around the amount and type of proposed housing and commercial land and how those figures were reached. They will also discuss the impact on traffic/transport, parking and access including routes for pedestrians and cyclists as well as providing information around sustainability, open spaces and ecology.

Various stakeholders will set out their objectives for the site and explain why they are important to the town. This panel will then take questions from the audience.
