Frome Matters – 25th September

It’s shaping up to be a busy autumn, with plenty to get involved in, be inspired by, or simply enjoy with your friends, family, and neighbours. From a conversation with author Rob Hopkins exploring the idea of falling in love with the future, to Adventures in Menstruating—an interactive comedy performance with Chella Quint OBE breaking menstrual taboos.

We’re also celebrating recent community achievements: Milk Street Green has won a Frome in Bloom award, and the Wildlife Mapping Project continues to thrive, with over 7,000 observations recorded so far. If you’ve spotted hedgehogs, butterflies, or birds recently, don’t forget to log your sightings—every one counts.

I hope you’ve had a chance to enjoy the new bench at Victoria Park, what a wonderful way to give an old tree a new lease of life!
