Sustainable Witham Friary is a group of friendly people working together to promote sustainable living within the village of Witham Friary and to ensure that sustainability is at the heart of future planning for the village.
The group organises events and share information, they liaise with other groups within the village and with other villages in the parish.
Sustainable Witham was set up in 2019 as a response to the climate and ecological emergency. They are looking for realistic ways we all can cut our own carbon footprint, decrease our use of plastic and live more sustainably, increasing biodiversity and doing what we can to encourage wildlife in the village.
