Frome Running Club has started its Junior Section again and is now offering training to young people aged 12-18 years. The sessions focus on running events, with the goal of improving overall fitness through activities that involve strength, coordination, speed and endurance. The training is open to young athletes of all abilities including those new to running and runners with more experience. The sessions are organised by the club’s EA-certified events coach who has over twenty years of youth coaching experience and is also an age-group competitive runner on the roads and trails around Somerset.
Training sessions are held on Tuesdays from 5.30-7.00pm. There will be an autumn term, winter term and a spring term with breaks following the school calendar.
