Chilcompton Sports is the nominated name for the various sports and facilities at the Bennell site on Wells Road, Chilcompton.
The 11 acre site comprises of the following facilities:
Grass Playing Area:
- Football – 1 x adult pitch; 3 youth pitches; 2 mini soccer pitches
Cricket:
- square – 10 wicket strips
- 2 lane, full size practice nets – nominally available from 1st April
Hardcourt – tarmac, fenced and floodlights – 60 x 36m
- 3 tennis courts or
- 3 netball courts
Pavilion:
- Changing Rooms
- 4 self contained team changing rooms
- 2 self contained officials changing rooms
- Kitchen
- Café Room
- Bar/Lounge
- 3 TVs – showing SKY & BT Sports channels
- Pool Table
Member organisations are Chilcompton adult and youth Football Club and Chilcompton Cricket Club.
Each of the member sports clubs is independently run with their own set of rules, fees and constitutions.
