Frome Town Council are delighted to recognise Acheson & Acheson for their good business practice regarding staff development and wellbeing, and sustainability.
They currently employ 31 apprentices and recently started their own graduate programme covering a wide range of roles including cosmetic science, operations, copywriting, finance, and sustainability. Monthly training and upskilling sessions are held for staff and the businesses has launched a Be Heard survey to understand how colleagues feel about their workplace. A Family Fun Day is held every year for employees and their families.
Acheson & Acheson are committed to delivering a sustainable and energy efficient business model and recently took on a Sustainability graduate to review their practices. The business offers employees a cycle to work scheme and are exploring installing solar panels on their buildings.
Acheson & Acheson was established as a family business in 1992 and is now a major premium beauty products supplier to highly respected international retailers and global brands. They provide an end-to-end service for the beauty industry, starting with developing highly innovative and unique concepts for their clients, through to manufacturing, packaging, and marketing support.
Their 78,000 sqft manufacturing facility in Commerce Park provides important employment for the town through its production facilities, warehousing, laboratories and manufacturing support offices.
