Max Wide

Max Wide has lived in Frome for 19 years. He was in at the start of the IfF project and has been an adviser to them ever since. Passionate about giving young people the best start in life, he has been Chair of Governors at Frome College and St John’s. He believes that as the new Somerset unitary forms, there should be opportunities for Frome. He is no stranger to local government and has been Director in Barnet, Suffolk and Bristol City councils, specialising in organisational improvement. He has two sons and is a good cook but a terrible golfer.
