Frome Remembrance Parade 2019

Mendip District Council, under the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, have issued temporary road closures to all vehicular traffic between 10:15 and 12:00 hours on Remembrance Sunday, 10th November 2019, as follows:

a) Keyford (between junction of Woodland Road and Wesley Slope) – 10:15 to 11:00

b) Wesley Slope (between junction of Keyford and mini roundabout at top of Bath Street) – 10:15 to 11:00

c) Christchurch Street West (from mini roundabout at top of Bath Street to Weymouth Road) – 10:30 to 12:00

Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the road affected will be made available for the occupants of those properties.  Clear access into the roads affected by this Order shall also be maintained at all times for the passage of emergency services.

Broadway & Egford Hill

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Broadway & Egford Hill from the junction with Vallis Road, westwards for a total distance of 590 metres.  This order will enable Somerset Highways to carry out footpath and associated works.

This closure will be effective from 11th November 2019 and is expected to last for 10 days (8am-5pm) excluding the weekend, to enable Somerset Highways to carry out footpath and associated works.
