Local families come together for festivities and fun in a very special Christmas Party

Frome Town Council were out in force at Sunday’s Children’s Festival Christmas party, capturing the essence of the party with a Christmas photo booth.  Families queued up for family portraits dressed as turkeys, elves and donkeys to create their very own souvenir of the day.
Kate Hellard Community Projects Officer said “The Council is so pleased to have the opportunity to fund such a great event with heart and soul this Christmas. This event gives children and families the opportunity to engage with high quality craft activities. Skilled artists and makers delivered workshops on Christmas decorations – like reindeers made out of willow and twine, festive face painting, cake decorating and of course Santa and his elves. This event was truly immersive and fun. As well as this being an upbeat festive party – as a Council it’s important to be at the event and chat to people to find out more about what the local community wants.”

Frome Town Council is always looking to broaden the reach of community engagement in a whole host of exciting and innovative ways.
