Ideas Needed for Clean Healthy Future for Frome

The local community is being invited to an open meeting to explore ways to cut air pollution and emissions in Frome. The workshop is being facilitated by energy and climate expert Nikki Jones, with short talks from Cllrs Peter Macfadyen and Shane Collins.

Peter Macfadyen said ‘This is a great opportunity to share ideas and plan actions we can take collectively to switch away from fossil fuels and strengthen energy security. Frome has committed to becoming a zero carbon town. We now need everyone to work together to enable Frome to have a clean, healthy future.’

The workshop will focus on what we can do as individuals and then move on to town-wide ideas and examples. Tea, coffee and cake will be provided.

The meeting will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday 30th May at Frome Town Hall and is being organised in partnership with Frome Town Council, Sustainable Frome and East Mendip Green Party. For more information visit: www.frometowncouncil.gov.uk/clean-future
