Further covid restrictions eased from 12th April

From Monday 12th April, further lockdown restrictions will continue to be lifted as we move into step 2 of the roadmap.

From today:

  • Non-essential retail, personal care (including hairdressers and nail salons), libraries & community centres, indoor leisure & attractions can open
  • Outdoor hospitality venues can reopen, with table service only
  • Weddings with 15 in attendance can take place, also funerals with 30 attendees.

You can still meet up outdoors with friends and family you do not live with, using the rule of six. You should still keep yourself and others safe, social distancing is still very important. You should stay 2 metres apart from anyone who is not in your household.

Our actions over the next few weeks will determine how the Government decide to move forward with the next phase of the roadmap; we mustn’t do too much too quickly and allow our rates and case numbers to creep up again.

Enjoy new freedoms, but please stay safe and remember hands face space!
