Frome Pride – final event information

It’s almost time to Celebrate Frome Pride 2026!

Parade

The parade starts at 12pm from the top of Bath Street and makes its way down into the Market Place. If you’re joining the parade, gather at Rook Lane from 11.30am. It’s completely free to join in the fun, but please RSVP for the parade to give the organisers an idea of numbers.

Everyone is welcome – if you don’t want to parade, you can still be part of the day by coming into town, cheering the parade on, getting your face painted and enjoying the Market Stage outside the library, the end point for the parade. Join the biggest gathering of LGBTQIA+ community groups, schools, organisations, businesses, friends and allies ever seen in the town’s history!

The day doesn’t end there – join the Pride finale party at Silk Mill from 7.30pm

Travel and parking

Roads through the town centre close from 11am to allow time to install barriers and bunting to line the parade. The road will reopen as soon as the parade has moved on to the market and the road is clear; the official road closure runs until 3pm but we hope to be clear by 2pm.

Please arrive on foot if you can. If you’re driving to Frome for the event, please follow the diversion via Rodden Road. After Rodden Road you will be guided onto the A362 southbound, until you re‑join your destination beyond the town centre. From the south, traffic should proceed along Wallbridge and Portway.

The following roads are closed between 11am and 3pm:
