Finish off the holidays outside!

The end of the summer is approaching, autumn is in the air but there is still time for a spot of wild life spotting with a guided Woodland Trust family activity sheet. You can pick one up from the café in Victoria Park or the Discover Frome Information Centre in the Black Swan Arts or down load and print your own : www.frometowncouncil.gov.uk/parks-and-open-spaces/wildlife-watch/

You might also like to search Frome to find your favourite tree Favourite Tree in support of the launch of the Tree Charter in November.

All you need to do is take a picture of your favourite tree in Frome, don’t forget to tell us where it is and what it means to you. At the end of September a shortlist will be drawn up and a public vote will take place to choose the town’s overall favourite tree. Send you favourite tree by email- to info@frometowncoucil.gov.uk, hashtag #FromeFavouriteTree on Twitter or Instagram or bring your photo in to the Town Hall and sign in support of the tree charter.

Frome Town Council are also speaking with people in Rodden Meadow to discover why people love it, what’s special about this green and open space and asking if there anything we can do to make it better.

Have your say with this very quick survey: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/rodden or download the survey at the bottom of the Rodden Meadow page on the Frome Town Council website https://www.frometowncouncil.gov.uk/parks-and-open-spaces/rodden-meadow/ and return to Frome Town Council by 18th September.
