Frome Community Bike Project

FCBP have a range of cycle hire options for residents and visitors.

They have partnered with OurBike to offer a community cargo bike for hire. The cargo bike can be hired for £5 per hour (£1.25 per 15 mins). To find out how to hire and access the bike, please visit Frome Community Bike Project’s website.

FCBP have also partnered with App-Bike to offer five community bikes for hire. These bikes can be hired for £4 per hour or £25 per 24 hours. Simply download the App-Bike app to create an account, book online and unlock the bike. The bikes can be found at the new bike shed opposite Frome Station, BA11 1RE and in the bike racks outside Frome Library, BA11 1BE.

Bike sales

FCBP have a number of secondhand bikes available to purchase, either online or in person, which have all been refurbished and safety checked in the workshop.

All profits from Frome Community Bike Project will go to Frome’s Missing Links who are a local charity working to link up traffic-free routes in and around Frome.
