Conference for anyone interested in Frome’s visitor experience

Frome Town Council are holding a Visitor Conference for any individuals or organisations wanting to find out more about Frome’s offer to our visitors.

The Discover Frome conference will be held at Frome Town Hall on 12 February at 10.30am – 2.00pm. It will focus on Frome as a visitor destination, launch the new series of Guided Walks and feature the extensive celebrations to mark 200 years since the birth of J.W Singer.

Mayor of Frome, Richard Ackroyd, said “If you want to get the best out of a visit to Frome, or if your business is directly or indirectly involved in tourism, this is a day for you. We want to see hoteliers, b’n’b owners, pub, cafe and restaurant proprietors, transport providers, retailers, managers of venues, in fact anyone who will benefit from having a thriving tourist scene in the town.”

He continued, “With so much happening already, this FREE conference is sure to be an enjoyable and informative day.  Lunch, networking and the chance for you to give feedback is all included.”

There will also be the opportunity to hear about the Discover Frome Information Point, how you can list your property on the booking system as well as the Walkers and Cyclists are welcome initiatives.    

Anyone who has an interest in what Frome can offer those who come from far and wide, as well as neighbouring villages and towns, is welcome to attend.
