Could you design the Mayor’s Christmas card?

The Mayor of Frome, Cllr Mark Dorrington, is inviting local children and young people to take part in the annual Christmas card competition.

This year’s theme is ‘Caring for our town’, encouraging entrants to share their ideas about looking after the town and taking pride in the places we all enjoy. From litter picking and caring for green spaces to helping wildlife and keeping neighbourhoods welcoming, budding young artists are invited to show what makes Frome special through their creativity.

The winning design will feature on the Mayor’s official digital Christmas card, which will be sent to community groups, organisations and partners during the festive season.

Mayor of Frome, Mark Dorrington said, “Frome is a town that people care deeply about, and I know there are lots of young people who are passionate about looking after it too. I’d love to see their ideas brought to life through this competition. Whether it’s our parks, streets, wildlife or community spirit that inspires them, I am looking forward to seeing their artwork.”

The competition is open to all school age children in Frome up to the age of 12. There will be prizes for the top three entries.

Entries should be posted to or dropped off at:
