New parking restrictions to be introduced in Frome town centre

It is understood that Somerset County Council will be putting in place some new parking restrictions following public consultation and advertisement of the proposals last year.  The restrictions are being introduced in two phases, the first of which will be implemented this week in Frome Town Centre so that they are in force in time for The Frome Independent on Sunday 3 April.

In the following streets there will be a combination of new double yellow lines (no waiting at any time) and new 7 days a week restrictions that will prohibit parking between the hours of 8 am – 6 pm:

Vicarage Street

Welshmill Road

Cork Street

New double yellow lines in the following streets:

South Parade

Welshmill Lane

Badcox

Please follow this link for plans showing the extent of the restrictions in each street: Parking Restriction Maps.
