Apprenticeship Conference at the Town Hall

ApprenticeshipFollowing the success of last year’s event, Frome Town Council hosted an Apprenticeship and Traineeship Conference on Wednesday 3 April at Frome Town Hall.

The free event highlighted the wide variety of apprenticeships and traineeships available, along with the benefits they can bring to your business.

Apprenticeships and traineeships are a great way of boosting your businesses’ productivity, as well as bringing new skills and diversity to your workforce. The aim of this conference was to support local businesses to offer apprenticeships to local young people and give advice on how to start up their own schemes, take advantage of available resources and promote opportunities to the local community.

The conference explored the real value of apprenticeships to your workplace, enabling employers to meet up with training providers and advisors to talk through the steps involved. It also provided the opportunity to learn how Frome Town Council is helping businesses connect with local people for the roles.

The event was open to all businesses and individuals interested in taking on an apprentices/ trainee.
