Improve Don’t Move 2021

10am-3pm, 18th September at Frome Town Hall

Improve Don’t Move is returning to Frome Town Hall for a third year. With a focus on sustainable retrofit and home improvement, this is a chance to meet local experts in renovation, insulation, home energy, design and more. This year’s event is part of Frome’s Great Big Green Week programme.

Individual ‘ask the architect’ 30 minute sessions are also available to discuss project ideas one to one with local architects.

Invitation to exhibitors

We would like to invite businesses providing sustainable renovation and retrofit, energy efficiency, renewable energy, natural building materials, garden and wildlife expertise to hold a stall at the event. Alongside the exhibition a programme of talks and demos will run throughout the day.

If you’d like to register as an exhibitor please download and return our booking form to nbrain@frometowncouncil.gov.uk by 31st August 2021.

Frome Town Council has hosted two previous ‘Improve Don’t Move’ events, showcasing ways to refurbish your home to cut costs and carbon.

The events offered an opportunity for local residents to speak to architects, designers and contractors who specialise in home renovation, redesign and improvements so you can improve your home rather than selling up and buying elsewhere.

Previous Improve Don’t Move exhibitors have included: Paul Horton Designs who specialise in the design of timber buildings and furniture, PAAD architects,  MJW Architects, Mark Kingsley Architects, Evolve Energy Solutions, Meadow in my Garden, Wessex Resolutions CIC, Edventure’s Edspace ‘cabin for all seasons’, IDDEA and home energy advice from CSE.

A local Green Directory, which we’ve put together, is also available.
