Temporary road closures for February 2020

Egford Lane

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from travelling along Egford Lane from 158m north west of the junction with Egford Hill, north-westwards for a distance of 40 metres.

This order will enable Wales & West Utilities to provide a new service to a property.

This closure will be effective from 3rd February 2020 and is expected to last for 3 days (8am-4pm).

King Street & Church Street

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along King Street & Church Street. King Street: From the junction with Market Place south-eastwards to the junction with Eagle Lane for approximately 125m; Church Street: From the junction with Eagle Lane, south-eastwards to the junction with Saxon Vale for approximately 60m, for a total distance of 185 metres.

This order will enable Idverde to remove ivy from the church wall and carry out hedge maintenance.

The order becomes effective on 10 February 2020 and works are expected to last for 2 days (08:00-16:30hrs).

Feltham Hill Lane

Somerset County Council (as the Highway Authority) have issued a temporary road closure prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Feltham Hill Road from the junction with A361 Frome Bypass, north-westwards for a distance of 100 metres.

This order will enable Crestmoor Construction for SCC to carry out masonry repair work to bridge.

This closure will be effective from 17th February 2020 and is expected to last for 19 days.
