Have your say in local bus service improvements

A new National Bus Strategy known as Bus Back Better has been launched by the Government to provide passengers with more frequent, reliable, easier to use and cheaper bus services. It forms a key part of the Government’s ‘green’ agenda that wants people to forego their cars in favour of using public transport.

Somerset County Council are in the process of drafting a Bus Services Improvement Plan (BSIP). They have set up a short survey to find out what you think would improve local bus services and what would make you use public transport more.  Your responses will be used to help shape the content of the BSIP. They are keen to hear from people who already use public transport and those who do not.

The closing date for the survey is 15th August and you can complete on the Somerset County Council’s Bus Back Better page.
