Mayor of Frome Mark Dorrington said “We’re saddened and concerned about the fire at Saxonvale and our thoughts are with the local residents.
“Thankfully it seems there were no human casualties. And thanks to the swift action of the emergency services, there was no damage to neighbouring buildings, including the Silk Mill. We’re in conversation with our colleagues at Somerset Council and will share any updates from them or from the emergency services, as the investigation continues.”
