Update on the Copper Beech in St John’s churchyard – road closure

We’ve been advised that King Street & Vicarage Street are both set to be closed tomorrow (Friday 24 June) between 6am and 6pm in order for tree works to take place in St John’s churchyard.

MDC has taken the decision to fell the tree now because of immediate concerns about the safety of the tree. MDC has published a full report on their website:
