Help to light up Frome for Christmas

Frome Town Council are looking for volunteers for Frome’s Light the Night Christmas event which is set for 30 November.

Light the Night is a real community event where everyone comes together to celebrate the turning on of the Christmas lights and spectacular lantern procession.

As a Christmas volunteer your role will be varied, from helping to set up stalls to making sure people know what’s happening and where to go. You could even join in with the carols! To find out more go to https://volunteerfrome.org/.

Watch this space as more details about the annual Christmas event, which will feature stalls selling festive drinks and food, children’s games and crafts, fantastic music and carol singing as well as an appearance from Father Christmas and of course the switch on from The George balcony, will be coming soon.

In the meantime there’s still a chance to sponsor the town Christmas tree which stands in Frome’s town centre over six festive weeks. If this sounds like something you would be interested in please email info@frometowncouncil.gov.uk
