Frome Town Council welcomed people who have volunteered time and skills for council events, ventures and groups in 2025 to the town hall on Monday 9 December, for a festive afternoon of tea, coffee, Old Bakehouse mince pies and cream, to recognise the enormous contribution they make throughout the year.
Mayor Anita Collier said:
“Such a lovely buzz in the Town Hall this afternoon as Frome Town Council says a huge thank you to all the volunteers who help out in so many areas across the town. Without their dedication and commitment, we would not be the compassionate and caring town we are. A cup of tea and a warm mince pie is nowhere near enough to thank them but hopefully the sentiment behind it will help to show our heartfelt appreciation of what they do.”
Frome Town Council wishes all its volunteers a very Merry Christmas and offers heartfelt thanks for everything they bring to the town.
