As spring begins to arrive, there’s plenty happening across the town. A real highlight has been the creation of the new community woodland at Spring Gardens in memory of Moko Sellars, where hundreds of volunteers helped plant thousands of saplings to create a space that will grow and flourish for years to come. We’re now inviting residents to share their thoughts on possible play features for the site, while also asking for your views on the future of public toilets in the town centre as we explore options for the Market Yard facilities.
You can also read about the latest round of community grants supporting local groups, a new mural brightening the entrance to Frome by Vallis Road, and events marking International Women’s Day, plus details of a special screening at Frome Town Hall of The Hardest Bridge, a powerful documentary about dialogue, reconciliation and finding common ground.
