Frome Business Breakfast: Tourism – Attracting Visitors to Frome

On Tuesday 6th June at 7:00am, the Frome Business Breakfast will be joined by Visit Somerset’s John Turner who will outline a new tourism campaign in Somerset. To be held at the Cheese & Grain, the event will offer the opportunity for local businesses and organisations to come together and discuss how Frome can support attracting visitors to the town.

John Turner CEO Visit Somerset has said; “I am delighted to be able to present to the Frome Business Breakfast group the Visit Somerset strategy for 2017/18. Frome is a vital part of the Somerset Tourism economy and one of Somerset’s major assets. My presentation will not only be looking at our future creative developments, but also our move to ensure that we have the right marketing capital in place to secure and support the future customers’ needs.  Tourism and our overall visitor economy is a crucial part of Somerset’s economic output, generating £1.3 Billion annually and supporting 34,000 full time equivalent jobs. Visit Somerset’s vision is to ensure that we are connecting and joining up all of our visitor economies creating a county that becomes one of the most unrivalled and dynamic destinations in the UK. ”

Organised by Frome and District Chamber of Commerce, Frome Town Council, and AM Personnel’s Mairi Connelly, the Frome Business Breakfast events are open to all local businesses and community enterprises and are a great opportunity to meet with other local businesses.

The event costs £10 per person with the breakfast included in the price. Dietary options are available upon request, prior to the event.
