Everyone can enjoy the river from both sides…

We are pleased to announce that the new riverside path running runs between Henley Way and Welshmill Lane is now open. The new path is fully accessible, so everyone can enjoy the river from both sides. The path is just one of the projects identified in the River Corridor Strategy, you can find more info here.  The project was funded by Frome Town Council and Mendip District Council’s New Homes Bonus Local Legacy Fund.

The path was built by Mindset Training and designed and managed by Friends of the River Frome. This wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of a lot of people and organisations, so we would like to thank everyone involved!

However, the path now needs a name! The key stakeholders in its construction have put forward their suggestions, and now we ask you to vote. The deadline for the name is Wednesday 22 July, so please do get your votes in!

What should the new riverside path be called?

Resolution Way

Wenley Walk

Katy’s Way

The Otherside

Why not tell us over on Facebook and make your vote count!

This poll is now closed. Thanks for everyone who participated.
