A new social group for anyone interested in trains is launching in Frome this May. The first informal group will be on Friday 8 May, 10.30am – 12pm in the Cheese and Grain café.
The group is open to anyone with an interest in trains in any form, whether that’s heritage railways, train travel, model railways, train spotting or simply a curiosity about the topic. There’s no agenda, no membership and no expectation to know anything in advance.
People are invited to drop in, have a tea or coffee, chat with others about trains or simply listen. The idea is to create a relaxed, welcoming space where people can connect through a shared interest of trains and is part of the wider Frome Connects month of activities.
After the first session it will be decided if there is enough interest to form a monthly group. If you can’t make it but want to find out more, email connect@weareconnectors.org
