The Somerset VCFSE Collaborative is a county-wide network for senior leaders from voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations.

Facilitated by Spark Somerset, it brings together organisations of all sizes and specialisms, creating opportunities to learn from one another, influence decision-making and strengthen the sector’s impact.

The Collaborative provides a space for leaders to connect, share insight, build relationships and work collectively on the opportunities and challenges facing Somerset communities. Through collaboration and a strong collective voice, they help ensure the VCFSE sector is recognised as a strategic partner in shaping services, influencing policy and improving outcomes across Somerset.

Members can access leadership development opportunities, peer support, sector intelligence and regular updates, while contributing to conversations that shape the future of health, care and community services in Somerset.

Representation

A key role of the Collaborative is to ensure strong and diverse VCFSE representation within strategic partnerships and decision-making forums across Somerset.

They work to ensure that the experience, expertise and insight of the sector informs local priorities and system change. We are particularly keen to support leaders from smaller, specialist and emerging organisations to participate, helping to ensure a broad range of voices and perspectives are represented.

Support and funding are available to enable organisations to engage in representation opportunities where capacity may otherwise be a barrier.
