Nunney First School offers school places from Reception to Year 4.
It is a village school at the heart of its community where staff skillfully manage time and space to enable children to develop their academic, spiritual, moral, social and physical gifts and talents in a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
They believe that every child, with the right support, can achieve great things. Each child plays a valuable part in the daily life of our school, the local community and beyond on a more global scale. The highly committed and skilled staff work hard to create the perfect space for children to achieve their very best in all learning experiences. They have a project based approach to learning and the curriculum is rooted in hands-on, active enquiry that is supported by high quality teaching of the core English, maths, science and computing skills that sit at the heart of our curriculum.

There is high attendance at after school clubs that take place at Nunney First School and at least one club runs every day. Staff, as well as external professionals with particular skills and interests, lead the clubs.
