Jack’s Music Club

For young musicians of any ability who want to use music as a social opportunity to play in groups and ensembles. For ages 10 to 17, the group meets on Fridays during term time, 4.30pm-5.30pm.

Spend the time making music together with visiting tutors, in different styles, and exploring different ways of playing together. The group is often joined by the exceptional tutors visiting Jackdaws that weekend to lead one of their music courses, who introduce the group to their particular musical specialism – from Folk fiddle through Jazz improvisation to Opera. There is always at least one DBS-checked member of Jackdaws staff present in the sessions.
