Frome Weavers Spinners and Dyers is a registered charity, with the aims of advancing the craft and advancing education in the traditional crafts of weaving, spinning and dyeing, which are very much part of the heritage of Frome.
Frome Weavers Spinners and Dyers are a group of people who enjoy developing weaving skills in the company of other like-minded people. They have a wide range of equipment and their members have a range of experiences, interests and skills, and contribute to the group by sharing what they know and taking time to help each other so that they learn and enjoy the craft together. They also have facilities for spinning.
The group are based near the train station in Frome and there is some on-site parking, with further street parking nearby.
The group welcomes both experienced weavers and spinners and complete beginners who will receive instruction and guidance from experienced members.
The premises is open every day to members, though their main social meeting days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 3pm.
