A True Mind-Body Approach to Care

As an Occupational Therapist and certified Yoga Therapist, my clinical training spans both physical and mental health. I don’t believe you can treat one without the other.

By combining this dual background, I look at the whole picture—how your brain, body, and daily routines interact. Because everyone is unique, our sessions are tailored to what you need at that exact moment.

Examples of how this might look include:

  • Using breath awareness to manage fatigue and rebuild energy.
  • Using grounding techniques to calm the nervous system and reduce sensory overload.
  • Using gentle, mindful movement to safely explore balance, coordination, and physical ease.

Whether you are navigating a neurological illness, recovering from physical restrictions, or managing severe stress and burnout, this approach provides practical techniques you can use far beyond our sessions to help you return to doing what matters most to you.

In-Person and Online Sessions

My practice is designed to be as accessible and supportive as possible. I offer sessions both in-person (at my cozy clinic in Frome) and online via a secure video link.

  • Initial Assessments (Ideally In-Person): Whenever possible, I highly recommend that our first session takes place in person. This allows me to safely and accurately assess your movement, posture, balance, coordination and breath, giving us the strongest foundation for your care.
  • Follow-Up Sessions (Flexible): Once we have completed your initial assessment and mapped out your plan, follow-up sessions can be done either in person or online.

Note: If your health, mobility, or location makes an in-person initial assessment impossible, please get in touch. We can discuss your specific situation and see if a fully online approach is safe and appropriate for your needs.
