One in six people who work will experience a mental health problem at some point in their lives. Work is often the biggest cause of stress. Promoting positive workplace mental health and wellbeing and supporting employees who are experiencing mental ill health is therefore really important.

Time to Change is a growing movement of people changing how we think and feel about mental health problems. The website includes workplace mental health initiative and ideas on how we can commit to change in the way we think and act about mental health at work.
Re-employ provide a number of resources that can support mental health wellbeing and that of your colleagues. Resources include a workplace mental health support service, a supporting apprentices service and resources such as downloadable (brief and accessible) webinars.
Free advice, information and ideas to employers and employees about a wide range of workplace health and wellbeing topics, provided by the Somerset Public Health Team from Somerset County Council. Includes information on stress management, sickness absence, as well as a range of other health issues that can impact on mental wellbeing.

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Support is available for individuals, those worried about someone they know who may be suicidal and those needing support after suicide, on the phone and using webchat.
This service aims to support individuals to improve their mental wellbeing, working with Wellbeing Navigators to identify, create and implement a wellbeing and recovery plan. More information available here.
