Have your say on sports and leisure in the town

Frome Town Council’s meetings actively encourage public participation; discussions about items on the agenda include the opinions of elected Cllrs and members of the public.

The next Council Matters Committee meeting is on 26 October, 7pm at Rook Lane Chapel, Bath Street, Frome BA11 1DN.

On the agenda is an overview of the resilience work programme for 2016 – 17, including such items such as the car club, a Green Energy conference for the town and the reduction of use of energy in schools. Cllrs will consider the recommendation to conclude a tenancy agreement with Somerset Skills & Learning CIC to enable their continued occupation on Town Council land.

Other matters being discussed at the meeting include sport and leisure in the town – views are welcomed from the public on these issues in particular.

Meetings are open to all and everyone is encouraged to contribute to discussions.
