Free Community Lunch for all

A free Fair Frome community lunch will take place on Saturday 22 October at 12.00 – 1.30 pm at Trinity Church Hall in Frome.

A group of friends, some of them Fair Frome volunteers are sponsoring and organising a delicious two course meal for the community – everyone is welcome, but advance booking is essential, by October 12th.

Community lunches are a simple way to bring people together who might otherwise not have the chance to meet and share a sense of community.  There’s a focus on fun and laughter, while also the lunches help create support networks and contacts that make the community more resilient.

Wendy Miller-Williams, Coordinator of Fair Frome, said “We’re thrilled this lovely group of people have come forward to sponsor and organise this event.  Community lunches are among the most worthwhile and valuable of our ongoing projects and offer so many wide-ranging benefits: they can help reduce isolation by introducing people to each other, offer opportunities to share healthy food and give an opportunity for local agencies to promote their range of services in a relaxed and social environment”.

For further information or to book for this event, please email Fair Frome at info@fairfrome.org or telephone 07714 587129.  Please include any details of dietary requirements.
